The Level 2 Implementation course is the technical core of the SS 724 Proficiency Pathway. It is designed for the arborist with secateurs in hand, the landscape supervisor directing a pruning crew, the horticulture technician assessing a mature estate tree before a cyclone season. It is built for professionals who do not just need to know what SS 724 says — they need to be able to execute it.

Across eight comprehensive modules, you will work through every major pruning treatment covered by SS 724 — from determining a tree’s target form and planning its pruning programme, to executing technically precise cuts on structural defects, to managing the most challenging remedial scenarios a poorly managed tree can present.

You will learn the difference between what is recommended, what is permitted in narrow circumstances, and what is never acceptable
